They make you argue the legal definition of "Parody" for months, and whether it fits your project. Expect to need to travel there when you're required. Expect one with a fairly good history of prosecuting copyright claims. This will likely be a court district they've been able to choose as by releasing this on the internet you've infringed copyright in every district so they get free choice of where to file suit. Time which will all be billable hours paid for by you. They take advantage of the fact they're a big corporation with a legal team to produce a complex brief which will take a considerable amount of time for your defense lawyers to prepare a response to. They file for each infringing asset you've created rather than the game as a whole. They claim multiple infringements as you've used multiple items of their IP. They push for maximum penalty, and include a nice NDA so that you can't talk about it in public to gain support or crowdfund a defense. They're out to make an example of you, or you're the lucky 1,000 customer. They skip DMCA and go straight to litigation. The worst that can theoretically happen? I'm not a lawyer so details may be a bit wrong but.
